Help Wayman raise money

Penny and I are once again delighted to ride in the Tour de Victoria as part of the Nicola team to raise funds for Opportunity International (OI).  We have been personally involved with OI for many years and have seen first hand the impact that small loans, to primarily women entrepreneurs, has made for families working their way out or generational poverty in the developing world.  We will be traveling to the Dominic Republic in early September with a team from Nicola and look forward to once again being impacted by the remarkable way that these loans transform lives.  Getting to meet the families and hear their stories always leaves a lasting mark on our lives.  We have traveled in the past with OI to Ghana  where the focus was on developing mobile banks for rural areas,  to Columbia where we visited work in both rural and city locations and now look forward to seeing the work in the Dominican Republic with a strong training program for the entrepreneurs and with visit to a school that is made possible by edu-finance loans from OI.
