My Story
There is nothing in this world that makes my heart more happy than being able to participate in the #SL10K run each year.
Being able to support kids that are suffering from cancer is the least I can do after what #SickKids and #CampFireCircle have done for our very own Mighty Mateja!
Mateja was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma at 5 months old. It was not the news we ever expected to hear, but here we were trying to save our little baby girl. I am pleased to say that with her fight and determination our Mighty Mateja had fought the toughest fight of her life and in the end she became our champion! She is now 11 1/2 years old, living her life to the fullest. Mateja is full of life with a smile to light up the room.
We do this each year for our #MightyMateja and all the other warriors out there! Thank you to all our friends and family who have supported us in this journey throughout the years ❤
I hope you will find it in your heart to support us in our annual #SL10K run that is happening May 14th! We need your support in order for #CampFireCircle to offer children a hopeful journey, where kids with cancer can just be kids, and where families cam connect with a community of strength and support when they need it the most.

Description
Help bring joy and laughter to kids affected by cancer or serious illness
A diagnosis of childhood cancer or serious illness changes life in an instant. For kids and families, their schedule suddenly revolves around medical appointments and hospital stays, with long absences from school. There is no time for simple joys like friendships, birthday parties or sport activities.
Campfire Circle is passionate about helping kids to just be kids, once again. By supporting their in-hospital, community and overnight camp programs, you will help bring joy and laughter to kids and families during their most challenging times, at no cost to them.
As part of the Campfire Circle community, you are helping to create opportunities year-round for kids to build friendships and social skills, develop self-confidence and resiliency, and improve their overall wellbeing.
More than a thousand kids were diagnosed with cancer during the pandemic—the need is greater now more than ever. Your support ensures that Campfire Circle’s critical camp-inspired programs will reach even more kids and families across Ontario. Your gift makes life-changing experiences possible.
Thank you for helping to build a world where children thrive and families heal.
