Welcome to my fundraising page!

I’m very excited to be participating in the 2023 Around the Bay Road Race (ATB) in support of St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation. This cause is very important to me because St. Joe’s is in many ways the heart of Hamilton – nearly everyone in our community has been touched by the incredible patient care they provide. 

Funds raised through this year’s Bay Race will support the following vital projects at St. Joe’s:

• Bringing the latest in breast cancer diagnostic imaging equipment to our Hospital. This includes items like a Digital Breast Tomosynthesis machine that provides 3-D mammograms and a breast biopsy coil to support MRI screening for patients at a higher-risk of aggressive cancers.
  
  
• Giving Babies and Families the Best Start Possible. We’re raising funds to help renew our 11 birthing rooms and expand our Special Care Nursery. With your help, we’ll be able to offer babies and families the very best start possible in units built just for them! New features will include enhanced infection control materials, dimmable lighting, and décor elements that are inspired by nature. The new birthing rooms will help parents to deliver their baby in the way that feels most comfortable for them. While the expanded special care nursery will help us to care for more babies who need a little extra love and medical attention. 

I hope that you’ll consider supporting me as I take on the Around the Bay Road Race and raise funds for St. Joe’s. I’m encouraged by the support I’ve already received, but I still need your help to reach my fundraising goal. Every dollar we raise together will support hope, healing and discovery at St. Joe’s.
