Vivo for Healthier Generations

Vivo is a charity on a mission to shape healthier generations. For us, a healthier future rests on three pillars: healthy people, connected to their communities and living on a healthy planet. We work alongside the community to help people see themselves as change makers capable of connecting, caring for and advocating more for their health, community and planet.

Funds raised will be used in one of two ways:

Vivo’s All in for Community Campaign is a $62 million project to build the space that north-central Calgary needs to be healthy and happy for life. Community hubs like Vivo’s are essential places required to build the resilience we need as individuals and as a community to thrive in the future. This campaign will build a nearly 100,000 square-foot expansion of Vivo’s community hub, including a first-of-its-kind indoor park, lane-pool, community event and meeting spaces and a research and innovation centre. We are 99% there.

Everybody Plays subsidy program is Vivo’s way of removing barriers to play – we do this by collecting donations to help subsidize the Calgarians who may not be able to afford physical activities like swimming or skating lessons, gym access, or wellness and sports programming for children.
