Raise money for WINS
For over 30 years, the Women in Need Society (WINS) has been providing help and support to women and families who are experiencing poverty or homelessness in Calgary and its surrounding. WINS provide basic needs such as food, clothing, affordable furniture and household items so women and families can establish a safe and warm place they can call HOME. We offer social and emotional support as well as essential employment programs focused around foundational life and family skills. in 2021 we helped more than 14K Calgarians on their journey towards a more empowered and resilient life. WINS is also kind to our plant . Through our repurposing and recycling efforts, we diverted 4.1 million pounds of pre-loved clothing and household furniture from the landfill.
We believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to thrive – no matter who they are or the challenges they may have encountered on their journeys. WINS provides essential resources, including basic needs, social supports and employment services to Calgarians facing adversity, marginalization, homelessness and poverty. With your support, WINS will be able to help more women and their families move from surviving to thriving.
