Libin Cardiovascular Institute, UCalgary

The Libin Cardiovascular Institute is a joint entity of Alberta Health Services and the University of Calgary that connects all cardiovascular research, clinical care and education in Southern Alberta. Our more than 1,500 members include physicians, clinicians and other health professionals, researchers and trainees from a range of disciplines. 

Two million Canadians have suffered cardiovascular disease or stroke. The Libin Cardiovascular Institute is tackling these problems head on through four initiatives that drive our research and ultimately enable us in our mission to improve cardiovascular outcomes for Albertans at all ages and stages of life.
