What do Dan Aykroyd (Actor), Tim Burton (Movie Director), Henry Cavendish (Scientist), Albert Einstein (Scientist & Mathematician), Bill Gates (Co-founder of the Microsoft Corporation), Steve Jobs (Former CEO of Apple) and Sir Isaac Newton (Mathematician, Astronomer, & Physicist) all have in common? They are all extraordinary, highly successful people who happen to be on the Autism spectrum. There is no one type of autism, but many.

In Canada approximately 1 in 66 children and youth are autistic. Early intervention affords the best opportunity to support healthy development and deliver benefits across the lifespan.

On May 28, 2023 I will be participating in the Servus Credit Union 5KM run with all the funds I raise going to Autism Speaks Canada. The funds raised will go to help those diagnosed with autism and their families receive the correct diagnosis and the best possible supports and help them reach their incredible potential.
