My Story…
Last summer in 2022, at the peak of the pandemic, my beloved mother-in-law was lost to pancreatic cancer - one of the most silent and lethal disease. It was only a matter of 4 months from symptoms to her walking in heaven. It was such a painful devastation for my wife and her family to lose someone so dearly and so suddenly.
I was never an athletic person, but I was inspired by my wife about a year ago to join Orange Theory Fitness (OTF). It changed my habits and it changed my well being. I begin to enjoy running again. I became stronger and faster. Thanks to OTF.
However, this 10KM run is my first ever public competition and I know this longer distance will be a great challenge for me. But I am dedicating this run to my mother-in-law to memorialize her greatness and her care of my wife during the labour and delivery of all my 3 girls.
All proceed of this fund raising will be towards the cure for cancer. Please open your heart and be generous. Help the fight against cancer, so less people have to suffer physically in battling cancer or emotionally heart-broken from the lost of love ones to this horrible disease.
