Why am I supporting Foothills Academy Society?
Hi my name is Kevin
I am running on May 28, 2023 in the 5 km of the Calgary Marathon with my son Besu. We are fundraising for his school Foothills Academy to support their bursary program. Besu has attended the school since grade 3. He has learned great skills both socially and academically. He is building tools for his tool box to be successful in the future. The bursary will go towards helping other kids.

We are Striding For Success with Foothills Academy Society! This organization helps thousands of children, youth and their families every year who have Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD with wrap around-services for literacy, psychology, camps, recreation, community education and school programs.
There are three teams competing for not just to win the race, but to out fundraise each other to support building new program areas at Foothills Academy Society.
