My Story…
What would possess me to run a marathon with relatively short notice and, if I’m honest, insufficient training?
Very little.
But, in this case, a very worth cause: Families of Alberta for Conductive Education (FACE). FACE is an organization that works with children and young adults with physical disabilities; it is also an organization that has been instrumental in my life for nearly a decade.
I’ve created a three part video series documenting my preparation and most importantly the value of this program in the lives of its participants and families.
You can see the first episode HERE, the second one HERE, and the final episode will be released in the coming weeks.
Please consider contributing to my fundraising goal of $5000, sharing with your network, or offering words of encouragement that I can cling to in the last miles.
Money raised will go directly to improving the facilities at FACE and subsidizing enrollment for families in need.
