Why am I supporting Foothills Academy Society?

"Today my beautiful boys and I tracked our 5K Scotiabank Goodlife Fitness walk/run in support of Foothills Academy: an awesome school supporting learning disabilities (or I'd rather say, abstract learners - these kids are very abled. To quote Einstein “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”).On that note... please donate in support of the school bursary, financially supporting families and their child(ren), building confidence and self-esteem to become the best versions of themselves. Description
We are Striding For Success with Foothills Academy Society! This organization helps thousands of children, youth and their families every year who have Learning Disabilities and/or ADHD with wrap around-services for literacy, psychology, camps, recreation, community education and school programs.
There are three teams competing for not just to win the race, but to out fundraise each other to support building new program areas at Foothills Academy Society.
