My Story…
As usual, I have mixed emotions this time of year as I get ready to walk for the Against the Tide fundraiser again. I feel so fortunate to be healthy and that my loved ones are healthy. I feel such sorrow for the friends and family who have suffered from breast cancer. I feel such frustration that in 2023 we are still struggling with this disease. But I also feel hope. When I walk with my husband and friends and many other women, men and children, I feel a sense of hope for the future. Please join me in this fundraiser and hopefully someday soon, we will be able to walk to celebrate that this disease no longer is affecting or taking lives.
