Raise money for Ottawa South Committee For Refugee Support
The Ottawa South Committee for Refugee Support (OSCRS) is a community group founded in 2015 in response to the Syrian refugee crisis.
Since that time the OSCRS has sponsored five Syrian refugee families and supported additional refugee families sponsored by other organizations and the Government of Canada.
Recently our Committee has supported, financially and socially, the integration of an Afghan single mom with three kids. Currently, our Committee is supporting another Afghan single mom and her two children to help get them on their way in Canada. Both these families came through the special government program for Afghans.
The OSCRS awaits the arrival of a sponsored African family of six, originally from the Congo.
All donations will receive a charitable tax receipt.
