I’m walking 5KM and raising much-needed funds for Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services. 

I truly believe in the work Rideauwood counsellors do and the approach they take to help people to reclaim their lives.  Compassion is at the heart of everything, and clients decide if they would like to take an abstinence or a harm reduction approach to their recovery – there is no “right path”.

What I find particularly special and unique about Rideauwood is how the organization supports families and parents who have a loved one with an addiction. Whether or not the person with the addiction is ready to seek treatment, family members can.

Rideauwood receives government funding, but that only goes so far.  This is why donations to the organization are so important – to ensure that people can access the supports they need when they need them most!
