I am thrilled and honoured to be a member of the Board of Directors at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute.
The Heart Institute is Canada’s largest and foremost heart health centre dedicated to understanding, treating, and preventing heart disease. They deliver high-tech care with a personal touch, shape the way cardiovascular medicine is practiced, and revolutionize cardiac treatment and understanding. They build knowledge through research and translate discoveries into advanced care. They serve the local, national, and international communities as we pioneer a new era in heart health.
We are truly fortunate to have the Heart Institute in our city. Like many, I know people whose good health and even life are directly as a result of the care they have received at the Heart Institute, and every dollar raised will help ensure that care us there for us, our children and others in the future.
