I'm not a real runner and I'm not aiming for a person best in this race. But I AM a big fan of Tara Gough and I'm a proud member of TEAM ROB, created in memory of her husband, Rob Gough.  

I also spend my days at work writing about the incredible cancer research breakthroughs happening right here in Ottawa, thanks to donors like you. Supporting this critical work matters to families like Tara's and like mine.

Rob Gough was an incredible person - a loving husband, father, a beloved son and brother, and a friend to many. In 2013 when his cancer returned, TEAM ROB was created to bring together family and friends to celebrate the amazing care he received at The Ottawa Hospital and the research that was helping to extend his life.
 
The Ottawa Hospital gave us an amazing gift - 5 extra years with Rob. We got invaluable time that we had to be together as a family that we will forever cherish, because of this excellent care and research.
 
Rob contributed to cancer research by participating in 5 clinical trials and being the inspiration behind Team Rob - he never gave up hope that cancer could be cured and our Team won't either. 

This is our 11th year fundraising for cancer research! In our 10 years of TEAM ROB we've had family and friends join the team each with their own personal cancer journeys. 

We are committed to doing our part to honour Rob and his legacy to fight cancer.
