Hi, I’m Steve!  Being an ordained vocational deacon in the Anglican Church of Canada, I also minister at the Carlington Community Chaplaincy where we provide a wide range of hospitality & arts-based programs for residents living in the Carlington area of west-end Ottawa who face food-security & housing challenges.  Our initiatives include a free-breakfast programme, a daily drop-in, studio space for artists, and special-interest classes open to all, and I myself offer to residents a caring & listening presence, advocacy in the face of systemic injustice, pastoral counselling, and quiet time for prayer.  Your support helps us ensure that we can continue to be a nurturing & caring presence in our neighbourhood.
