Notre histoire…
Hi everyone!
I have finally signed up for my first run/race since my knee surgery, and since my last long run, Around the Bay, in which I ran with my friend John.
Since his passing, I told myself I wanted to run a race once a year (an ambitious goal but gotta start somewhere haha) to raise money for Addictions support and Mental Health in honour of the beloved soul we knew as John/Johnny. Recovery took a lot longer than expected and then Covid hit. So, here we are!
If you feel so inclined to donate, all donations will go to Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services in Ottawa. Any small amount means a great deal.
Thanks for all your support and to those who have encouraged me along the way with getting back to sports and running - both big loves for me.

Rideauwood Addiction and Family Services is a community-based addiction treatment centre in Ottawa. At Rideauwood, 40 expert and compassionate addictions counsellors support individuals and families impacted by problematic substance use, addiction and related mental health challenges.
