Notre histoire…

Michael was a patient of the Ottawa Heart Institute for over 15 years. Michael passed away suddenly at the age of 52 on November 21, 2011.  Since 2012, family, friends and colleagues have come together on Ottawa Race Weekend to run, walk or cheer and we have raised over $103,000 for the Michael Rooney and Family Endowment Fund with the University of Ottawa Heart Institute Foundation.  Allocations from the fund support research priorities.  

We miss Michael and he is forever in our hearts.  Life is Good!
