Please help the Pancreatic Cancer Purple Team to raise funds for Pancreatic Cancer Research at The Ottawa Hospital
Pancreatic Cancer is the third deadliest cancer causing death. There is no early detection test, treatment or cure for pancreatic cancer.
On May 27/28, the Pancreatic Cancer Purple Team will be running in the Ottawa Race Weekend to raise awareness and funds for pancreatic cancer research, in memory of all who have passed and to support all those who have been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
Every year, about 6,900 Canadians are diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Sadly, most of these people will succumb to this devastating illness with in 3 to 6 months.
At the moment there is not a treatment or cure available for this type of cancer but Dr. Carolina Ilkow's lab is working hard to find one.
Your donation will go to Dr. Ilkow’s lab, to purchase a biosafety cabinet to help them continue their research in pancreatic cancer at the Ottawa Hospital.
Please support us to help change the lives of pancreatic patients by donating.
