Our Team: Justin Lamarche and Tanya Sealey - A brother and sister team
Event: Half Marathon - 21.1km
Fundraising goal: $1,000.00
We are running the Ottawa Race Weekend's Half Marathon on May 28th, 2023 to raise money for Parkinson Canada.
Our dad, Richard, was diagnosed with Parkinson's in February 2018.
Richard has always been active, funny, and adventurous, and his diagnosis hasn't changed him in those ways. But he has struggled in other ways, and we want to show him that we care and support him by raising money for Parkinson Canada, an organization that provides access to programs and services that will make a tremendous difference to the quality of life for the Parkinson's community, as well as working to fund the discovery of new treatments and, ultimately, a future without Parkinson's.
