My Story…
I believe that working hard toward a goal takes courage, commitment, and the ability to prioritize AND be flexible. It also requires asking for help and support when you need it.
The Ronald McDonald House helped my family beyond words when my sister Maria was diagnosed with Leukemia not long after her 1st birthday. Our family of five kids lived rurally, about two hours from Melbourne, Australia where Maria had treatment for the better part of two years. She's currently a thriving 31-year-old, thanks to the support of this incredible organization.
This will be my second Olympic Distance Triathlon where I get to show care and support to one of my closest friends who is conquering her fears and participating in her first-ever triathlon. You'll find Jordan Christianson and me wearing matching suits on race day!
If you have the capacity, please donate to support me and Jordan working hard towards our goals, and the Ronald McDonald House in their incredible work.
