Race Date: March 25, 2023 at 8am
Join us for the Redz River Run 5k and 10k Race/Walk hosted by the Baton Rouge Sigma Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. The race will benefit several local charities and the March of Dimes.
This Race has USATF certification. The route will take place on the Southern University and A&M College Campus.
Early Registration period is September 19th- November 30th- $20.00
Regular Registration period is December 1st-March 1st -$25.00
Late Registration is March 2nd-March 25th.-$30
T shirts are not guaranteed for individuals registering after March 2nd.
We are asking racers not to attend if they have been exposed to someone who's been sick within two weeks of the event.
The organization will provide sanitation stations.
There will be disinfecting on all touch-based surfaces during the event.
All participants will receive a T-Shirt and finisher medal if registered before March 15th.
After the race, all are invited to attend the Community Health Fair which will include various health screenings, speakers, several local small business vendors and food trucks.
Place awards will be given as follows:
Runners: Top 3 male and female runners for adult and youth by age category.
Walkers: Top 3 male and female walkers adult and youth by age category.
Age Categories are:
0-19 years old 20-29 years old 30-39 years old 40-49 years old 50-59 years old
60-69 years old 70-79 years old 80+
