Raise money for Pioneer Trail North Foundation
Blackfoot Ultra is excited to be helping out this wonderful small organization. Amber (Co-RD) brought her school to the Outdoor Classroom in 2022 and raved about the program.
Pioneer Trail North Foundation is a not-for-profit established in 2000. It falls in a category of business called social enterprise or for benefit business, that have the primary goal of making their community a better place to live.
WHAT
- The Foundation supports conservation initiatives that benefit present and future generations.
- Our purpose is to provide the necessary programs and infrastructure to achieve our goals.
- The Foundation supports programs that are designed to promote nature learning and responsible outdoor recreation
- and the Foundation strives to promote learning and Natural Area stewardship, especially in our youth.
- Using the motto 'Nature Stewards for Our Youth, by Our Youth'.
Programs are based on an 80 acre paradise we call Iskwahtem, Cree for door or portal. Iskwahtem is nestled into 1400 acres of Natural Area and conservational lands. We are located 40 minutes north of Edmonton in the Ghost Horse Hills.
