Welcome to Alberta's only sand dune 50K race!
Crazy Muley Ultra will start/finish at the Sand Dune Liquor Store parking lot (New) in Edgerton, Alberta. The course will be one big loop that will mostly be on trails and single track. You will enjoy a hilly course that takes you thru sand dune complexes.
This course is meant to show off our local region and unique landscapes. Be prepared to be challenged on non stop rolling hills, loose sand and little to no shade. Both courses will be 1 loop with both races sharing the first half of the race before splitting off on their own loops. We will have 2 main AS and 2 water stations to assist in getting you to the finish.

To allow for everyone to have fun and enjoy the area we are finishing at a brewery to keep you motivated! The cutoff will be generous with 12hrs for the 50K and 6hrs for the 25K. We will have finisher beers so will want you to finish!
To make the day even more special each racer that registers before the swag deadline will get a full zip hoodie (ladies and men's cut), reusable Hammer Gel Flask and a few other goodies. To get your Crazy Muley Hoodie make sure you register before midnight May 1st.
All finishers with get a hand made clay buckle and a finisher beer!
We want you to enjoy our local area so stay for discounted beers and snacks after you finish or cheer on our runners. There are several campgrounds in the area with one being walking distance from our start /finish.
To help us with looking after this unique area the race will be cup less so please bring your own reusable one.
We will donate a large share of our profit to local foundations like Wainwright Mental Health or Wainwright Kids sport.
Wainwright Runners has a zero tolerance policy for any physical or verbal abuse to any racers, volunteers or race staff. Also have the right to not allow racers with past issues.
Refunds until May 1st are by a per racer basis please contact the RD. After May 1st there is no refunds.

While it might be the shorter distance we have made sure you get the full sand dune complex experience. Half the loop will be shared with the 50K runners and then you get some unique single track of your own.
