Help Kinsley raise money

Hi there! I am currently training and fundraising for the NOLA Dogs Race to the Rescue. This is a race that I have run before, but I am returning this time to run for the company I work for, Vetco Total Care. Animals have been a passion of mine for my entire life and running came along a few years ago. I also adopted my best friend, Daphne, 2 years ago from a local shelter. That experience changed my entire life and made helping shelters and others find their new best friend a big passion of mine. Being able to mix the three and make a difference at the same time is why I am so excited about this race.

Working in the veterinary medicine field and having volunteered previously I know first hand how important it is for fundraisers like this to exist. Most shelters are at max capacity and often times handle strays who need immediate medical attention. Vetting dogs, spaying and neutering, clearing skin infections, treating heartworm disease, proper prevention, feeding, cleaning and so much more all take money that is received primarily from donations.

That is why I have made a goal of raising $300 to help out our local shelters that do so much for our community! If you’re unable to donate there are more ways you can help! Volunteering is a very rewarding way to help shelters. You could even apply to foster! If you want to completely change your life and the life of another, I always recommend adopting a fur baby. Seriously, I’ll never tell you to NOT adopt a new friend.
