Update: I have raised our goal to $2000 since, thanks to so many extremely generous donations, we achieved our goal of $1500 within just a few days !! *mind blown* Thank you all so much!!
Hey pals! I’m super stoked to share that I will be running my first 10k race (ever!) and would like to take this opportunity to raise funds for the Downtown Eastside Women’s Centre.
Since 1978, the DEWC has provided a safe, judgment-free environment for women and gender-diverse people who live and/or work in the DTES.
Your donations will help provide safe spaces and basic needs (like showers, toiletries, clothing, and food), as well as empowering support and community to all women (cis, trans, and 2S) of the Downtown Eastside.
