At De Novo Law Corporation, we sincerely embrace the essence of "New Beginnings." From our firm being located in the heart of Downtown Vancouver on West Hastings Street, it quickly became evident to both our founders and team members that this location serves as a convergence point for a diverse range of demographics. Our awareness of the environment we both work and build relationships within, coupled with genuine gratitude for the central and easily accessible position we occupy, naturally ignited a desire within us to reciprocate the support and relationships we've received from the community. This is why we are very excited to be supporting PHS Community Services through the Under Armour 10k Run this year!

PHS Community Services Society provides housing, healthcare, harm reduction and health promotion for vulnerable people in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside and Victoria. Founded in 1993, we are a charitable non-profit that manages more than 1,600 units of supportive housing and shelter and is internationally renowned for pioneering low-barrier housing and harm reduction. Insite, North America’s first supervised injection site, has operated safely for 20 years with not a single overdose death. We offer ground-breaking medical-grade alternatives to street drugs through our SAFER and Enhanced Access programs. Our essential, low-barrier community services include medical care, affordable dentistry, a credit union branch (in partnership with Vancity), a managed alcohol program, and a food program providing 2,000 meals daily. Our collaboration with Culture Saves Lives allows us to offer services to inner-city Indigenous communities.
