My Story…
This is my 12th year and my daughter - Ziya's third year participating in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon with Team Asthma. This event has not only become an annual tradition for our organization but also a cherished family affair to support a great cause.
Over the years, Ziya and I have walked, run, and rollerbladed through the Toronto Waterfront 5k. My father volunteered for the event during his visit to Canada. My husband - Kai has been our steadfast driver, ensuring the entire team reaches the start line with enthusiasm and determination.
As a long-time member of the organization and Director of Operations and Administration, I am proud to work for Asthma Canada and raise awareness to support the nearly 4 million Canadians living with asthma. We have seen Asthma Canada grow our research program, advocate on key policy areas including clean air for respiratory health, and expand our programs coast-to-coast.
