My Story…

Four years ago we decided to rescue a dog and Save Our Scruff united us with our girl Becky!
On October 14th, I will be running ½ a marathon for Save Our Scruff. That’s 21.0975 kilometers / 13 miles / 23071.95 yards / 21097.5 meters – in any measurement that’s a lot of running! This is my first time running this distance and I am so honoured to be doing this for my girl Becky and the organization that saved her and continues to save hundreds of dogs annually!
Save Our Scruff is dedicated to preventing overpopulation as well as stopping the cycle of abandonment/neglect while also providing aid/support due to these concerns. They provide care and rehabilitation for stray, abandoned or displaced dogs. Save Our Scruff strives to position themselves as a leader on matters that promote and improve the welfare of dogs through enhancement, protection, care, education and advocacy.
