My Story…
Greetings friends, colleagues & family. It is 'that time of year' when again I will be participating in the waterfront marathon to raise funds for research in glaucoma, a sight threatening disease. To refresh our memories and to share the following with new supporters, my family has a long history of glaucoma. It was determined shortly after the birth of my son Gabriel, that he had only one functional eye. Later in life he developed glaucoma in his only good eye, which required two surgical interventions and lifelong drops throughout the day. I too have glaucoma. During the last few years, the pandemic!! I decided not to seek support from many of the 'usual' kind supporters. I guess that we are, sort of, back to normal! Your support is greatly appreciated. Thank You PS In prior years Scotiabank was a behind the scene supporter, with about 2% fee per donation. Now TCS is on the scene, charging about 7% fee. Shameful, but I have no control over this. Please note that you are not obliged to pay this fee.
Donate to help Mark raise money for 2023 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon’s fundraising campaign.
