I am participating in the Toronto Waterfront Marathon this October to support LIGHTS. The LIGHTS charity has been helping families with an intellectually disabled child find tailored independent living solutions since 2011. By providing a customized plan for small group living arrangements & required support resources, LIGHTS connects families with one another, helps navigate a complex and bureaucratic system, and in some cases funding of up to $25,000 per year for five years.
