My Story…

Hi, as you may know, I am supporting a close family member touched by a serious mental illness.  As a family supporter, I have been inspired by the courage and patience he has shown in coping and adapting to his condition.  It has been an amazing journey for me as a caregiver.  I am running to raise money for the Institute for the Advancement of Mental Health (IAM) dedicated to research into Schizophrenia.  I have been easing back into running over the past while cheered on by my partner, runner extraordinaire, Lianne Krakauer, who joins me on my training runs.  My biggest challenge on race day will be to avoid the adrenalin-fueled sprint start so I can finish strong and with a smile on my face.  Will you help support me on this campaign?
