My Story…
I will be walking 5K (for my third time!) in honour of Gilda’s Club to raise funds for the extremely valuable programs and services they provide to people living with and affected by cancer.
Gilda’s Club understands the need for social and emotional support as people navigate their cancer diagnosis or that of a loved one. Providing 600+ programs annually, the wonderful Gilda’s Club team, which consists of social workers, educators, fundraisers, volunteers, and more, is equipped to support individuals based on their needs.
I believe strongly in the organization’s cause and am proud to walk 5K for Gilda’s Club.

Please support me as I run for Gilda’s Toronto in the October 2023 hybrid TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon, ½ Marathon and 5K. Gilda’s Toronto provides cancer support programs free of charge to adults living with cancer and support for their teens and children who are experiencing cancer-related stress as a result of living with someone with cancer. They also provide bereavement support to those who have lost someone to cancer. The need for Gilda’s has never been greater. Since the pandemic, many more people with later-stage cancers have sought support from Gilda's Toronto. Your donation will help make it possible for people impacted by cancer, to access and receive the support they need to reduce isolation and cancer-related anxiety. Your donation helps ensure that individuals and families affected by cancer continue to receive the emotional, educational and health-focused cancer support they require. By supporting me, you help Gilda’s Toronto continue to fulfill their vision: “to help people live while living with cancer”. Thank you.
