Urban Promise Toronto is a nonprofit Christian organization committed to reaching out to children and youth residing in local government housing and empowering them to become future leaders. The organization's mission is to inspire these young individuals to one day give back and revitalize their communities.

Urban Promise Toronto operates across three locations in Toronto, offering a diverse range of programs suitable for people of all ages. These communities, which the organization serves, often face hardships that no child or youth should ever have to endure. Urban Promise Toronto leverages its facilities and resources to address some of the most pressing challenges faced by both children and youth, as well as their families.

Urban Promise Toronto has been my home since I was 5 years old. UPT is a place where I not only forged lifelong friendships but also imbibed invaluable life lessons in empathy, resilience, and the importance of community. UPT not only helped cultivate my passion for wanting to serve and help those in a less fortunate situation, but it also provided me with a platform that encouraged me to combine and pursue my goals of being a Child and Youth Worker and my passion for justice. 

This year, I have the opportunity to participate in their fundraising event known as "Run for Promise." Run for Promise is an annual event where staff members, alongside families and children/youth, come together to raise money for essential programs and initiatives that directly benefit the communities we serve. I am kindly asking for your support. Whether it is by joining me on race day, making a donation, or simply spreading the word about this event, your contribution will make a significant impact in empowering the children and youth in our community to build brighter futures. Your involvement can help us reach our goals and create positive change where it is needed most.
