Help Jennifer raise money

Hello family and friends,

This year I am participating in the Scotiabank Toronto Marathon to raise money for EHM, an organization I am very proud to be a part of!  In 2023 EHM is celebrating our 110^th year of serving people in need in our little corner of downtown Toronto near Queen and Bathurst.  Our team of approximately 25 staff members and hundreds of volunteers work together to provide the following services: 

-high quality, rent subsidized housing to over 160 people across our two buildings.  Tenants move in to our buildings from shelters across Toronto 

-our Drop-In serves around 200 hot and nutritious meals per day to people experiencing homelessness and poverty. It also offers showers, laundry, spiritual care, information referral, a voluntary financial trustee program, group programming, a nurse, Narcotics Anonymous and so much more

-the peer program provides meaningful paid employment opportunities to a team of folks with lived experiences of homelessness

-our dental clinic provides free dental hygiene services 

-at the heart of all of our programs is community-building.  Social isolation is one of the biggest challenges and when folks come to EHM they not only receive material help, but also friendship, support and community
