My Story…
This year, I am participating in the Virtual 5 km TCS Run and Charity Challenge for Gilda’s Toronto. Please support my virtual 5 km walk in support of the cancer-support services that Gilda’s Toronto provides.
I know first-hand the benefits of psycho-social supports like those provided by Gilda’s Toronto. By supporting me in this event, you are helping Gilda’s Toronto continue to provide cancer support groups and programs free of charge to those impacted by cancer.
Gilda’s Toronto has seen a significant increase in new members seeking support services since the onset of COVID-19.
The Gilda's Toronto team of mental health professionals continue to connect with children, teens, and adults providing much-needed support to relieve cancer-related stress, reduce isolation and provide resources to navigate today’s ever-changing healthcare landscape.

Description
Please support me as I run for Gilda’s Toronto in the October 2023 hybrid TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon, ½ Marathon and 5K. Gilda’s Toronto provides cancer support programs free of charge to adults living with cancer and support for their teens and children who are experiencing cancer-related stress as a result of living with someone with cancer. They also provide bereavement support to those who have lost someone to cancer. The need for Gilda’s has never been greater. Since the pandemic, many more people with later-stage cancers have sought support from Gilda's Toronto. Your donation will help make it possible for people impacted by cancer, to access and receive the support they need to reduce isolation and cancer-related anxiety. Your donation helps ensure that individuals and families affected by cancer continue to receive the emotional, educational and health-focused cancer support they require. By supporting me, you help Gilda’s Toronto continue to fulfill their vision: “to help people live while living with cancer”. Thank you.
