Help Dakotah raise money

This year I am back participating in the 2023 Run for Life to raise awareness, raise funds and to encourage important conversations about a very important issue. Suicide and suicide prevention.

In honour of my cousin, Andrew Greer, I am taking on this fundraising effort again this year to help shine a light on the dark spaces that live in each of us. It is important to speak up, support each other and for everyone to know they are not alone and those are my goals with participating in this fundraiser…. To show up. To speak up. To support. 

Losing my cousin, Boo, in August 2019 doesn’t get easier and while my family and I continue to do what we can to keep his memory alive and to keep talking about him, keep visiting with him, keep honouring him… I vow to continue to look towards and welcome discussions on suicide and suicide awareness and not shy away from all efforts of eliminating stigma and to keep spreading the awareness.
