Hello family and friends!!!

Thank you for your consideration to support The Warm Place by honoring Corey in the 1 Mile Fun Walk or by simply giving a donation! The Warm Place has been a major resource to the kids and I, as we have been attending almost two years now. 

Here is an idea of what an evening at The Warm Place is like. We attend every other Thursday. I drive from North Fort Worth in that horrific traffic, and I get a babysitter. It is THAT important to me! Potluck starts us off and we get to chat with other grieving parents and children. We eat anything from pizza, Torchys queso, to homemade meatball sandwiches. Then the kids split into their group based on age, and I attend the adult sit-in. The kids do specific activities that are targeted to express memories and emotions. Also gives them a safe place to share their heart and talk about daddy and not feel "weird" about it. Not only do they provide the group support, there are various family days (Zoo, Skating, Plays, and much more) that we have attended for FREE! This place is the real deal in supporting families through their grief journey. 

This is a free resource to grieving families with no expiration and we look forward to raising $3000+ for The Warm Place in honor of Corey!!!!! If you are not available and would still be so gracious enough to donate, you can also do that through this page and it will go towards our team goal! I know Corey is so proud!

Corey walked daily! He even bought customized walking shoes  that we got into a fight over because of how much he spent on them. LOL! We will wear his shoes around our neck to take him with us on the walk!

March is also Corey's Birthday month! These two reasons give us all the motivation to show up in honor of him to support The Warm Place! This place is very dear to my heart, and I can truly say The Warm Place has been a major positive in our grief journey.
