Our story…
The Butterfly Run is happening in person again this year, October 1st at 10:30am!
This will be our fourth year participating in the Butterfly Run, the first one only days after Blob died.Â
The Butterfly Run Ottawa aims to raise awareness and support around pregnancy loss, infant loss, pregnancy after loss, and infertility in and around Ottawa. In addition, all process from the run are donated to Roger Neilson House, a pediatric palliative care hospice.
The Butterfly Run holds a very special place in our hearts. We were given information on it the day after we said goodbye to Blob. The organization and the support it has provided have been helpful, once we were open to it. The first year we took part, our hearts were broken and the tears still fell freely. It was the first time we ever wrote, in our own hand “we miss you Blob. Love always, mommy and daddy”. We will continue to support this cause and if you choose to as well, feel free to join our team and us on October 1st, or just please always kee Blobby in your hearts.Â
