Help Erica raise money

I don't normally ask, but I am asking for support in this race fundraiser. And here is my why.

1. My dad used to run marathons when I was a kid. I was always inspired. 

2. It was always a goal but after 4 failed attempts at training, my gf @ammoffatt and I decided on a whim to complete the Canmore Half in 2021 and we pulled it off.

3. A few months later, my dad bested my time by 30 minutes at 68 years old....

4. I've been training again, harder, better, keeping my nutrition and hydration strong and I'm gunna crush this one in 2 weeks time. Alongside @ammoffatt and @wayne.ingraham.3

5. My dad was in the RCMP when I was a kid. Mental health was NOT acknowledged back then. It is now and there is a long way to go.... I volunteer with @wayfinderswellness (and used to work with @prairieskyequine) alongside some exceedingly strong and compassionate humans who are MAKING THE CHANGE for first responder mental health in this province.

5. My own mental health is infinitely better because I run. Since I no longer ride horses at the level that I used to, running is one of the only places I feel the flow state outside and it is wonderful.

6. The hardest one to acknowledge out loud.... I lost a friend last year. I wasn't there. I wish I had been strong enough to be in his life longer and now he is gone. His family asked for donations to the CMHA. I think of him on every run. Your support is more widely spread than you know 🙏
