My Story…
Running in remembrance of U.S. Coast Guard Helicopter Rescue Swimmers who have made the ultimate sacrifice, "So Others May Live".
Heroes In Transition is proud to announce its eighth, team-based endurance ruck relay event: Ruck4HITCapeCod. A field of up to 20 teams will run 200+ miles through all 15 towns on the Cape from the early morning hours of Friday May 5, 2023 to Saturday afternoon May 6, 2023. The route begins in Bourne, MA and continues to the tip of the Cape in Provincetown. From here, athletes will head back towards the finish line after running through every town on the Cape and finish the relay in Mashpee, MA. Each athlete will run 2-4 miles at a time with a 10-20 pound ruck sack on his/her back as the teams complete the route in relay format, running non-stop until the mission is complete
