Our story…
Hi everyone,
Last year I started a new tradition by participating in the Seize the Moment, Run for Epilepsy, 2022. February 1, 2023 will mark 11 years since I had my first seizure. Since then I've had my ups and downs, I've gone from having seizures monthly to not having one for 5 years then just like that having them more regularly. I am currently 8 months seizure.
There is no cure for epilepsy and unfortunately it doesn't get as much funding as other illnesses due to the lack of public knowledge. But 1 in 26, I am that 1 out of 26 who has been diagnosed with epilepsy and I am here to Fight Like a Woman!
If you can please donate to support the 1 in 26, because chances are you know someone or know someone who knows someone who has been diagnosed. There is also a link to join my team if you'd like to.
Thank you all so much! 💜
