The Elizabeth Community Association (ECA) is thrilled to announce the 2023 Elizabeth 8K, Charlotte's oldest 8K! There are several events to choose from:
An 8K timed race for the competitive type: This course provides a fantastic tour of the scenic residential and commercial streets of the Elizabeth neighborhood.
A 1.5M untimed run/walk for the casual participants: Join your neighbors for a refreshing stroll, go for a jog with your kids, or just get outdoors for a nice walk through the neighborhood with your morning coffee.
The Liz Kids’ Fun Run for the little ones: Even the little ones can get in on the action with this FREE fun ~50 yard dash. It’s for kids six years of age and younger.
Cheer Stations: Not running or volunteering? Have a party and cheer on runners! (PRIZES will be awarded to the most creative, best refreshments, and most motivational)
Proceeds benefit the beautification of the historic Elizabeth neighborhood, and TreesCharlotte, a public/private nonprofit collaboration to grow, diversify and steward Charlotte's iconic urban forest.
