There are limited spots available for late registration! Please follow the steps below if you would like to sign up for the race.

Step Two: Come to Package Pick-Up Expo on Saturday, May 27 from 10 am – 3 pm at MCC Centre (33933 Gladys Ave., Abbotsford) so we can assign you a race bib. Registration on May 28 is not available.
Run for Water is a premier community running event open to individuals of all ages and abilities, to promote physical fitness, community spirit, and raise funds for clean water development in under-privileged communities in rural Ethiopia.

Location
Run for Water takes place at Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford. The start and finish lines for all race distances is on Bevan Ave. (33015 Bevan Ave.)
Schedule
The Abbotsford race day schedule for Sunday, May 28th, 2023.
- 09:00 am: 10K Start
- 10:00 am: 5K Start
Participant Shirts
If you registered by May 1st, you are guaranteed an athletic race shirt. We have ordered a few more shirts but there's no guarantee you will be able to get your size. These shirts are not mandatory to participate in the race and you are able to forego shirts if you would like that option.
Your shirt will be available for pick up along with your bib in the days leading up to the race. We will send you info on package pick-up after your registration.
Timing
Parking
Limited parking is available at Sevenoaks Mall, MSA Arena, Mill Lake Ball Diamond, Abbotsford Middle School, Godson Elementary School (before 7am) and side streets in the area. Please car pool and allow extra time for walking to the race start.
Course Markers, Aid Stations, & Services
- Course markers are at every kilometre along the race courses.
- All aid stations provide water.
- Medical assistance and portable toilets are positioned along course and at the finish line.
- Please refer to course maps for further details.
Awards
Awards will be given out at the Race Program Awards Ceremony.
Fundraising
The registration system automatically creates a fundraising page for you if you would like to go the extra mile and collect online donations.
Cash and cheque donations can be brought to the “Donations” tent on Race Day. 100% of the money raised by donating and fundraising goes directly to the project on the ground to provide communities with clean water and quality primary education.
**If this year's designated project is fully funded, Run for Water reserves the right to use excess funds to build additional water and education projects in other rural communities in Ethiopia.
The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
