My Story…
Hi Everyone,
"Valo is a nonprofit taking a proactive approach to support the emotional wellbeing of young people."
As I enter what I think to be my 7th or 8th Beach2Beacon, I decided I really wanted to give back to the Maine community while I race my favorite race. I have decided to raise money for this year's TD B2B beneficiary, Valo. Valo does fantastic things in the community and really helps to make a difference in Maine kids' lives.
I ask you to please donate anything that is meaningful for you to help me reach my goal of $1,000. And I hope to see many of you on the course this August!

On their transformational retreats, Valo creates a space where teens from a cross-section of communities come together, connect meaningfully, and tend to their emotional wellbeing. Empowered and with a renewed sense of themselves, these young people go on to impact their communities in real ways for the good.
