Help Me Raise Funds for the Kids First Center
I am excited to be running the Beach to Beacon this year on behalf of an amazing organization.
Kids First Center’s Strives To:
Give children a neutral place where they can freely express their feelings about the separation or divorce of their parents and better understand the changes in their families.
Equip parents with the skills they need to work together to raise healthy and well-adjusted children through the transition of separation and divorce, and beyond.
Provide resources, continuing education, and collaboration opportunities for professionals who work with separating families.
Exposure to parental conflict results in childhood suffering. The stress, anxiety, and trauma children experience impacts their health and happiness. It impacts their futures. But this outcome is not inevitable. Teaching co-parenting skills to decrease conflict increases a child’s resilience and overall happiness and health.
Help Kids First create positive childhood experiences. Your donation to the Kids First Center will help end the harmful and lifelong impact of parental conflict on kids. Thank you for supporting children and families everywhere.
Description
I have chosen to join a long tradition of runners who raise funds for the Kids First Center. Please support my run by making a donation today toward my goal of $500. I hope to exceed that to help raise even more for kids and families by participating in this world-class race.
