My Story…
I have recently started a physical journey to combat the MS that is starting to ravage my brain. I was diagnosed a month ago when my neurologist found 4 lesions developing in my brain. Physical activity is recommended to help slow the progress of this disease and I am doing everything I can to become more active in a gentle way. Cycling is a therapeutic activity that works for the whole body and I try to cycle whenever I can. I am hoping that you support me through this journey to do good by movement.

MAKE WAVES WITH US IN 2023
This year the Navy Bike Ride will be celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Naval Reserve units across Canada Please join Canadian communities both in-person and virtually this June to support our members in uniform who serve our country.
The aviators, sailors, and soldiers of our Canadian Armed Forces wear the maple leaf as a symbol of pride and patriotism on their uniforms. Each day they wear the maple leaf as they represent and protect our nation both at home and abroad, and their families. Military families are directly affected by aspects of the military lifestyle of continuous relocations, absences, and transitions.
Canadian Armed Forces members and their families are championed through Support Our Troops, Soldier On, and the Royal Canadian Naval Benevolent Fund. You will assist:
- empower youth to pursue their academic dreams
- maintain the dignity, independence, and well-being of families during financial hardship
- send children of military families to camp bringing them a renewed energy and a support network
- support ill and/or injured members in their rehabilitation and recovery through the transformative power of sport, recreation, and creative pursuits
The funds you raise will ensure that the members of the Canadian Armed Forces have access to the financial resources they need, when they need them the most. On behalf of our members in uniform – who do so much to keep us safe at home and abroad – Thank you for riding with us.
PÉDALONS À L’UNISSON EN 2023!
Cette année, le Défi-vélo de la Marine soulignera le 100e anniversaire de la Réserve navale au Canada. En juin prochain, joignez-vous aux communautés canadiennes, en personne et virtuellement pour soutenir nos militaires qui servent notre pays.
Les aviateurs, les matelots et les soldats des Forces armées canadiennes (FAC) portent sur leur uniforme la feuille d’érable, symbole de fierté et de patriotisme. Chaque jour, ils représentent et protègent notre pays, ici et à l’étranger. Les familles des FAC sont directement touchées par la réalité du mode de vie militaire, lequel est ponctué de réinstallations, d’absences et de transitions permanentes.
Appuyons nos troupes, Sans limites et la Caisse de bienfaisance de la Marine royale se font les champions des membres des FAC et de leurs familles. Votre soutien aidera :
- des jeunes à concrétiser leur rêve de poursuivre des études;
- des familles à maintenir leur dignité, leur autonomie et leur mieux-être lors de difficultés financières;
- des familles de militaires à envoyer leurs enfants à des camps, ce qui leur apporte un regain d’énergie et un réseau de soutien;
- des membres des FAC ayant une maladie et/ou une blessure à bénéficier d’une réadaptation et d’un rétablissement grâce au pouvoir transformateur du sport, des loisirs et des activités créatives.
Les fonds que vous amassez permettront aux militaires d’accéder à des ressources financières lorsqu’ils en ont le plus besoin. Au nom de notre personnel en uniforme qui fait tant pour assurer notre sécurité au pays comme à l’étranger, nous vous remercions d’être à nos côtés.
