Weston was born with Bosch-Boonstra-Schaaf Optic Atrophy Syndrome, also known as BBSOAS. It is a rare neurological disorder caused by a disruption in the NR2F1 gene. There are currently only a few hundred known cases of BBSOAS worldwide with diagnoses rapidly increasing every month. Helping raise money for causes like this race bring awareness to such rare diseases. We thank you for your support.      Understanding BBSOAS
