My Story…
Duffy has been through some epic changes over the last few years, but the care and commitment to the mission, “to provide equitable, integrated primary health care and support services to persons who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness on Cape Cod, and to improve the quality of life for vulnerable and marginalized populations through community collaborations, leadership, and advocacy” has remained constant. 4 of the last 5 years I have been at Duffy, my role has been to provide same day access to the behavioral health needs of our patients, particularly those with substance use disorders. Our OBAT program is so near and dear to my heart; there is no shame in coming clean, asking for help and sometimes starting over. Duffy and their incredible staff support and treat some of the most underserved members of our communities. Any donation you make to my fundraising efforts goes Directly To the patients we serve. Housing is healthcare. Compassion and medical care are human rights. Duffy lives and breathes these truths. We are all a paycheck, a disaster or a few mistakes from a life of full of struggle. May we always see the human in one another, help one another and encourage well being. Please consider a donation in support my my running the Falmouth Road Race! 7.1 miles is the least I can do to raise awareness and money for the patients of the Duffy Health Center!
Donate to help Amanda raise money for The 2023 ASICS Falmouth Road Race’s fundraising campaign.
